Improving Mental Health Outcomes for Transgender and Gender Diverse (TGD) Youth through Gender-affirming Care
This webinar is designed to help health centers understand the importance of access to gender affirming care for transgender and gender diverse (TGD) youth. Participants of the webinar will discover current and emerging research on the positive mental health effects of support for gender affirmation, learn best practices for supporting social transition, and discuss resources for helping TGD youth access gender affirming medical care to improve health outcomes.

Opportunities for HIV Prevention with PrEP
HIV prevention with pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is highly effective and a component of the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. initiative, yet use is not commensurate with need. Training and technical assistance is available for health centers to start or scale up PrEP programs. In this webinar, participants will become familiar with PrEP resources and hear how health centers have implemented programming to improve HIV prevention and expand access to PrEP.

Long-acting injectable antiretrovirals are currently available for treatment of HIV, and approval for HIV prevention is anticipated soon; these developments may significantly change the landscape of HIV treatment and prevention. In this case-based webinar, Dr. Kevin Ard will discuss injectable antiretrovirals for HIV treatment and prevention. By the end of the webinar, participants will be familiar with the most up-to-date evidence for injectable antiretrovirals and will be able to describe programmatic changes that may be necessary to implement long-acting injectable medications in clinical practice.
