Distance Learning

The National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center provides a variety of distance and web-based learning opportunities.

We host multiple webinars each year, which are first broadcast live to audiences who can ask questions in real time. The webinars are then archived and available to view for free.

Using the Project ECHO model pioneered in New Mexico by Dr. Sanjeev Arora, we provide year-long and six-month-long continuing education opportunities for providers. We currently offer a Transgender Health ECHO and an HIV/PrEP ECHO.

We also offer learning collaboratives in conjunction with provider and organizational partners across the country. These learning collaboratives vary in duration and can be entirely online, partially online and partially in-person, or entirely in-person. To learn more, email us at [email protected].
