Elijah Oyenuga (he/him)

Elijah Oyenuga is the Program Coordinator for the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center. Elijah began his career working as a peer leader for Boston Gay Lesbian Adolescent Social Services (GLASS), where he learned to facilitate workshops focused on creating understanding, awareness, and respect to eliminate bullying and exclusion faced by LGBT youth. He has since worked for the Department of Education's Safe Schools program, guiding administrators on the path to offering LGBT students a secure and supportive environment. As the program coordinator for the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center, he continues to advocate by coordinating online provider educational opportunities, ​developing and delivering training and technical assistance initiatives, and evaluating ongoing programming to help Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) across the nation improve health services for LGBTQIA+ people.
